Came here on a Monday evening for our anniversary. Decor is lovely, nice atmosphere. The dough petals were soft and doughy with a garlic butter. We had pasta to start, both the carbonara and romesco bucatini were tasty, a good size for the small portion.
I ordered a latte but got it in a cup of cappuccino. The place is beautifully prepared, congratulations to the design team. many visually pleasing details. I had a view of the bar and the boys there were fantasizing in glasses, a real show. However, I expect to be put on a table and receive sugar, not saccharin at the latte ordered. I’ll be back, but on a less crowded day.
Found the drinks to be quite a bit overpriced and gawd knows how many calories are in four large glasses of wine.🤣

This is a quintessential independent Italian restaurant that has been in same ownership for over 30 years. Attention to detail, super food made with the best quality ingredients and personal service from the owner himself. You can’t go wrong if you want good good and service. Approx 20 tables and a small bar. Free parking outside. We usually order steaks.

Went in the week food was lovely, staff great. It’s one of me and my partners favourite restaurants. But it was freezing in there. We got put next to the window. I asked if we could put the radiator on. But got told no, there will be more people in soon. What does that actually mean? What to share body heat! We shouldn’t have to enjoy a lovely meal in the cold with our coats on. We did get asked if we want to move near the door. Which was even colder.

Well, what a lovely jewel , I love Italian food. This place is family run. Its , without meaning to be rude, a little out dated inside, but in some way adds to the charm of the place, but the food was absolutely delicious, I highly recommended this place. The charm of the decor & food go together very well. Some times you don’t kneed all these up to date modern decorated venues, just a great atmosphere & very good food 👌
I have never left a review like this before so feel like i am disrespecting the restaurant and staff however i am just sharing our experience as honest as i can.
Roasted veg that came with the mains were cooked very nicely. Steak was good. Nice homely food, slightly pricey.
