The customer at Gray and Bull is always amazing. I had been to 2 other opticians after them and have ended coming back because the customer service and range of beautiful glasses is the best in Nottingham.

Excellent service and the perfect glasses. Had tried varifocals from Boots, didn’t get on with them at all, tried Gray and Bull – immediately a better experience, actually felt like I was talking to someone who knew their business. Exactly the frames I wanted + varifocal lenses that work, almost zero dead areas… so good I can use them for screen work! Also got them made in matter of days. First class from start to finish.

Gray & Bull were really helpful, promptly solving a problem with my existing frames & lenses with the minimum of fuss. A fantastic service, I’m looking forward to choosing my next frames there already! Thank you.

Went into Loxley for an eye exam and to replace my old frames. The staff were lovely. Eye exam was thorough and explained at every step. Huge choice of frames but they work with you to narrow it down to the perfect frame. I ended up paying a lot more than I have done in the past for glasses but was happy to pay more for the durability, quality and branding of the glasses. Pick up was super quick, thorough with aftercare instructions and friendly. Will be coming back.

My husband recently had an eye test and new glasses from Loxley. Staff were really friendly and helpful, his eye test was thorough and they took plenty of time to make sure everything was right. This was his first eye test in years, and they really took the time to make him comfortable.

Excellent experience at Loxley. Thorough and informative eye test by the warm and professional Optician, Indy. Followed by such a fun styling session with Julia. I have always picked the same style of glasses and she helped me to wear something completely new and I love them. Highly recommend.

I popped into the branch in Nottingham and Jon/Jonathan was so helpful, not only did I get 20% off the sunglasses but they also sent me them over via post as soon as the Maui Jim sunglasses turned up, as the ones I wanted (blue lens) were via the stockist and not in shop.

Lovely customer service, bought a lovely pair of Tom Ford’s from here I’m absolutely obsessed with! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Glasses selection was trendy and broad. Highly recommend. Also do a 10% student discount which helps massively! Special shout out to Jon who was super helpful in picking out perfect frame for me.

I was so pleased with my glasses I have now ordered new sunglasses.
