You may have experience with other dog groomers who pack-in their bookings and dogs are relegated to cages once their groom is finished to await collection. In an unfamiliar environment with other dogs, this could easily be distressing to the dogs, so at Sue’s Paws, we don’t operate like this. Your dog is treated with one-to-one attention to their individual needs and the best, considered advice is always offered to owners on caring for thier dogs’ coat once it leaves us.

Willow had never been to a professional groomer before, and we were concerned with how she would react with her being a rescue dog, we chose Sue due to the great reviews and patience she had shown with other rescue dogs that had been to see her. What We Offer:

Cats lick themselves constantly to remove debris and loose fur from their coat, so it does appear that the majority of cats are, in fact, ‘grooming’ themselves. In reality, they are only spreading saliva though their coat and ingesting large amounts of hair that, in turn, lead to hairballs. Unfortunately, their saliva does not contain any magical enzymes, shampoo, a comb, or nail clippers. Cats often suffer from matted coats, shedding hair, dandruff, grease and oils, litter box odour, feces, long sharp claws, fleas, hairballs, stud tail and chin acne. We had a great natter whilst she was tackling my mum’s grumpy lumpy old cat and for the first time in his life he met his match.

I would definitely recommend The Cat Spa. Our cat Rolo was very calm and Lisa was amazing at keeping her calm. Rolo is matt free now and strutting her stuff. The price was very reasonable and it was nice to be able to be present through the whole process.

I can’t speak highly enough of this lady and her cat grooming. I had a lion cut on my 2 Persians to make them easier for me to manage with me not being too well.
