It is perfect. The staff are all amazing. Especially Maddie. She went above and beyond. Room perfect. Everything you would expect in a 5 star + . Room had Everything you could want lighting great. Bathroom great. Had iron ironing board .Hair dryer. Fan. Tea coffee excellent. Breakfast was really good. Breakfast staff were totally on the ball. Just fantastic. Thanks

I was treated to an afternoon tea by my friend as a birthday gift. She was a little disappointed when we arrived as we were in the bar rather than the dining room but the staff more than made up for it!

Can’t speak for the hotel but their bar is exceptional. Jimmy and Silvia work very hard to curate a great menu of interesting, refined and classic drinks, all made in a welcoming, relaxing friendly environment. I hope their new management allow them to continue at their best as they are the easiest recommendation in Nottingham for drinks.

Stayed in Lavender for one night, as per previous reviews, it’s ready for a refurb but I fully understand the difficulties faced over the last two years. It didn’t detract from the very comfortable bed with high quality bedding. The shower was fantastic and the towels big and fluffy. The setting of the hotel is lovely, surrounded by gardens and I imagine worth a visit in warmer weather. We had a warm welcome and were shown to our room by a pleasant member of staff. Breakfast service was good, plenty of cereal, pastry and fruit choices and a well cooked hot breakfast.

We recently had a 2 night stay for our daughter’s wedding and it could not have been better. The staff were friendly, helpful & efficient, and wedding wise it all ran smoothly. The room for the ceremony and wedding breakfast was beautiful and there was plenty of room for dancing later. We loved that there were smaller ‘snug’ areas for people to go and chat if they wanted to be somewhere away from the disco. The outside areas were beautiful with loads of flowers and hanging baskets, and a great garden for photos after the ceremony.

Qualified by a country upbringing and a Cambridge philosophy degree to do nothing in particular, Tim Hart tried to be a high-powered investment banker for 10 years before finding his vocation as a hotelier, restauranteur and small-time entrepreneur. Hambleton Hall in Rutland (1979) was his first venture and he was quite content perfecting this rural idyll until nagged by Nottingham based clients to open HART’S.
