French Living has been Nottingham’s guilty secret since 1994, sitting at the top of King Street, a few steps away from Nottingham legend Brian Clough and the famous lions who proudly protect the Council House. Just like those familiar Nottingham landmarks, French Living remains pretty unchanged after all this time. Stephane and Louise are still the proud owners; Head chef Jeremy is a part of the family since 1997 and Audrius seems to have been around forever! It has been a journey, and French Living has grown and evolved over time, but its origins, its mission, the intention behind starting this business have never waived.

I recently went back to “French Living” for the first time in a year or so. The food is still as amazing as ever, the Chef and staff are kind and skilfull.
The various appetizers and entrees served as a reminder of the wonderful food the French kitchen can produce, our main courses were perfect as always, and the Creme 
Fantastic evening at French Living Nottingham. The food was outstanding, wine fabulous would highly recommend.
The staff were very accommodating as we had to change the amount of people on our booking on more than 1 occasion. The communication was excellent. There was a lot of choice on the menu with the added bonus of a ” specials board” Would recommend this family run restaurant to anyone that appreciates good food and a great atmosphere.

Good food, the lamb sauce was delicious, the lamb was cooked very nice, the vegetables could get a bit more love, but they were good. I was impressed with the white bait and the Belgian chocolate was fantastic. Overall 5 stars.
From the start of this experience was flawless. Charlotte the lady who was front of house/waitress called us to confirm the reservation I made online. When we arrived we were seated within minutes despite it being busy, we were made to feel special and well catered too the whole time.
Very friendly, and attentive staff. The food is delicious. The restaurant has a wide range of choices for various dietary requirements, including vegetarian and vegan, all of which are delicious. The beat thing, for me, is the daily specials they have that make the choice of what to have when there even more broad.

Overall very nice, we came with the Groupon and the servers are very polite and attentive. Ambiance is very pleasant
Please don’t miss this restaurant if you are ever in Nottingham. My brother took my wife and I to lunch and the food and service was fantastic. Our server Selina and the wine waitress Shy are the nicest people you could ever meet.
Mixed quality of service with average food. The ham hock terrine starter was tasting but a ridiculously sized portion. Duck main made me glad I filled up on the ham hock.
